Review: More

More by T.M. Franklin

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve been waiting to read this book for so long!
Finally arrived and took me two evenings to read it, enjoying every bit of it.
Ava Michaels is not your typical stereotype heroine. She is the average college student, with a part time job, a scholarship and failing physics. She has this feeling sometimes that she might be special, but it´s not something that really worries her. She likes her life, her friends, and her family.
Still she has a recurrent dream, a man chasing her. She feels like someone is watching her.
Caleb is appointed as her physics tutor. In appearances he is just another nerd, but he is the one that will show Ava how special she really is and help her accept who she really is.
They have a connection, there are moments between them but the romance is not the main focus of the book and I think at one point that makes it even more interesting. Yes, you kind of hold your breath for the kiss but there is so much going on around them than the kissing can be put on hold.
Ava learns that she might be part of a superior race, one Caleb is part of.
What the superior race was not expecting was to find a very strong minded, very stubborn your woman who will fight them for her freedom. A woman who is not afraid, that will challenge their order of things.
More has the right felling to it when it comes to paranormal, the characters all well plotted and developed.
I really enjoy this book, I look forward to read more from both Ava and Caleb and see where Mrs. Franklin will take them next.
