Review: Gambling Men: The Novel
Gambling Men: The Novel by Amy Lane
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Im still smiling at these two.
Very different from what we are used to with Amy Lane, no tears at all.
I lot of laughs and sexy times and sweet intimate times in bed.
Pillow talk has never been so serious, and I love every bit of it.
There is no doubt that you will enjoy this book if you decide to pick it up. Be aware that there are a lot of poker metaphors in it, if you never played pocket...you´ll be lost more than once LOL
The MC´s have been friends, colleagues and business partners for years but never, not once felt the need to talk about their feelings for each other.
Funny how one of them, Jace, has to almost molest the other one, Quent, in the locker room to finally get them to the point where they can´t ignore those feelings anymore.
What comes after that is a great love story.
The domestic side of this story was adorable, Jace´s need to be looked after matches Quent´s almost maternal instincts, the cooking, the sharing...
And the boys during poker night? Those guys are funny.
